What we do: Provide consulting and
implement technical solutions to businesses.
Let’s define that:
Consultant:
"An
experienced practitioner of applying technical solutions to problems. Using
the tools of experiences in this field to answer questions and concerns in
the housekeeping of those solutions." In short, I use my expertise and 23
years experience to solve your technical problems. Solutions vary as
much as a 10 minute phone call ("How do I ..."), to a comprehensive
plan with timelines, drawings, technical descriptions, equipment lists, pricing
budgets, conference calls, and interpreting technical concepts to everyone
involved. Sometimes this is coordinating other providers into a cohesive
solution…like a general contractor of technology.
Implement Technical Solutions:
"Using skills of organization, communication, documentation, and a
wealth of knowledge to make a technical solution come to
life." This boils down to un-boxing, hooking things up,
configuring, troubleshooting, phone calls, scheduling, communicating, and
sometimes sweat and persistence.
I earn my living by using both of these
skill sets. Drawing from this experience, I research energy solutions
as well.
Keeping
it Simple
In the years I have been working with technology, I have learned to approach
computers (and any technology for that matter) with simplicity. My
philosophy is "keep it simple", which I follow as closely as I
can. Computer technology is a complex animal, and it is often all too
easy to face complex problems with even more complex solutions. I have
found that simple solutions are the most efficient, most stable, least
expensive, and overall give the best results. As a consultant, I must
understand the complexities of the problems that we are faced with in order
to seek out the best solution. I have always strived to stay abreast of
the latest technologies both practical and theoretical and will continue to
do so.
